Introduction; Add shared mailbox outlook.

In the tutorial I explain how you can add a mailbox to Outlook. This can also be a different user mailbox, or a room mailbox or something similar.

Let’s add a (shared) mailbox to Outlook!

There are 2 different tutorials, one is for the ‘techies’ among us, and one for the dummies…

Alright, now we’ve added the (shared) mailbox, click Apply and re-start your Outlook.
The newly added mailbox will now be opened under your own Mailbox.

If you do not have Full access to the mailbox, you will not be able to open the (shared) mailbox!

But how do I send an email as the shared mailbox?

  • Open a new Mail Message
  • Click the From button
  • Select Other E-Mail Address
  • Type in the Shared E-Mail Address in the From field
  • Send message
